We had already heard of the Samsung work on a second generation of Galaxy Tab Sand just in case further confirmation here come from GFXBench, which shows a Galaxy Tab S 2 9.7 offering also a look to its technical characteristics. Confirmations are not lacking: 9.7-inch super AMOLED screen (this benchmark says 9.6, but it is a matter of rounding) 2,048 x 1,536 resolution, so with a typical 4:3 format iPad and now of Nexus 9.

The template is named SM-T815 and refers to a variant with LTE connectivity, while the Wi-Fi should be SM-T810 according to the nomenclature of the Korean House. The octa-core 1.9 GHz CPU, maybe a Exynos 5433, but has not yet ruled out the hypothesis Exynos 7420 leverage Android 5.0.2 64-bit architecture with Lollipop. To complete the list we find 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory and 8 and 2 megapixel camera.
