HOW TO MAKE GREEK YOGURT: 2 RECIPES NOT TO MISS

1. GREEK YOGURT WITH 0% FAT

– Ingredients –

  • 2 litres of skimmed milk if you want to do with 0% fat
  • 1 natural yoghurt full, with yeast dairy

– Mode of preparation –
Heat the milk until bubbles begin to appear on the edges. If the form that the skin on the milk, remove it;

  1. Let it cool up to 40 degrees, which can take between 30 and 45 minutes;
  2. Join all the milk inside of a pyrex dish with a lid and add half of a natural yogurt;
  3. Place the lid on the pyrex dish, wrap with a thin blanket or thick towel and place in a conventional oven that has been heated to 180 degrees for just a minute, and then turn off;
  4. Leave to incubate inside the oven during 10 hours;
  5. After this period, you must drain the yogurt and then put the preparation in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours.

2. GREEK YOGURT WITH VANILLA

– Ingredients –

  • 1 cup of natural yoghurt
  • 2 litres of milk
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • Sugar or sweetener to taste

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Bring milk to boil and then let it cool;
  2. Then, add the natural yogurt and stir with the help of a spoon;
  3. Cover with a cloth and let it rest for approximately 8 hours;
  4. After this period, remove the cloth from the top of the milk and, on a table, put a bowl and a sieve;
  5. Line the sieve with a clean cloth and pour the yogurt with the milk;
  6. Let the ingredients and strain it for about two and a half hours;
  7. Join the seeds of the vanilla bean, and sweeten in the manner that you prefer;
  8. To check out the creamy texture, whisk the yogurt with a mixer.
